Leadership Team

Students at the heart of everything we do

Corina Rader - Director

Corina Rader joined the British International School of Stockholm (BISS) as Director in the summer of 2025. Raised as a Third Culture Kid (TCK), she grew up moving frequently and living in cultures far from her own. Born in Spokane, Washington (USA), Corina spent her formative years in Alaska, Nevada, Salt Lake City, and Santiago, Chile, where she graduated from Nido de Aguilas International School. This international upbringing instilled in her a deep commitment to fostering inclusive, globally minded school communities.

Corina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage, a Master’s degree in Education from Washington State University, and a Principal’s Diploma from the PTC in the UK. She brings over 20 years of experience in education, most recently serving as Head of School at Rome International School. Prior to that, she was Director at the International School Frankfurt and held several leadership roles at international schools in Stockholm, including SIS and Futuraskolan.

Each of these roles has been instrumental in shaping her leadership approach, and she is thrilled to return to Stockholm to lead BISS into its next chapter with energy, experience, and a passion for international education.

Josh Crozier - Principal of Secondary

Josh joined BISS as a Chemistry teacher in 2015. Through numerous roles, he has been instrumental in the growth of the school to offer our successful IGCSE and IB programmes. Prior to working at BISS, Josh worked in inner-city schools in the UK, bringing with him high expectations for student attitude and behaviour that are required at such institutions.

Since joining BISS, Josh has enjoyed watching students being treated as individuals in our school’s caring and positive environment. These effective student-teacher relationships add value to every student’s learning to ensure they are making progress and experiencing success.

Cathy Taylor - Head of Primary

Originally from the UK, Cathy brings over 25 years of teaching experience to her role at BISS. Her career has taken her across the world, with teaching and leadership roles in the UK, Indonesia, Oman, South Korea, China, and now Sweden. She has spent the majority of her career in international schools, which has given her a strong understanding of the unique needs of expatriate families as they navigate life and learning in new countries.

In addition to her classroom teaching experience, Cathy has held senior leadership positions, including Deputy Head in two different international schools. These roles have given her a broad perspective on curriculum development, pastoral care, and the importance of building strong, supportive school communities.

Cathy joined BISS in August 2022, initially teaching in Reception, and then in Y2 before becoming Primary Principal in August 2024. She has a particular passion for teaching phonics, child-led learning, and creating inclusive classrooms where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to succeed. Her teaching is characterised by warmth, creativity, and a commitment to each child’s individual learning journey.

Having lived and worked in many different parts of the world, Cathy appreciates the rich experiences international schooling can offer. She is also very aware of the challenges that can come with frequent moves and is always ready to support children and families as they settle into new environments.

Now happily living in Sweden, Cathy enjoys the natural beauty and changing seasons, and she loves spending time outdoors. She is excited to continue her journey at BISS, working with children and families to create a nurturing and enriching school experience.
