Clubs And Activities
Our extensive programme of clubs and activities allows students to discover new interests, build confidence, and develop lifelong skills. Whether through music, sports, technology, or creative arts, there’s something for every student to enjoy and explore beyond the classroom.
Enriching Learning Through Exploration and Play
At the British International School of Stockholm (BISS), our students are at the heart of
everything we do. Our holistic approach to education emphasises both intellectual and
personal development, which is why we have cultivated a robust Extra-Curricular Activities
(ECAs) programme. This programme is designed to offer students optional enrichment
opportunities that align with their interests, passions, and curiosities. From a young age,
students are encouraged to select ECAs that resonate with them, fostering their growth
beyond the classroom. BISS partners with a range of talented external providers and also
offers some clubs led by our own skilled staff members.
ECAs provide a unique platform for students to engage with staff and peers they might not
ordinarily interact with, creating opportunities for cross-year group connections and new
friendships. Through these activities, students not only enhance their understanding of
different cultures within our international community but also acquire new skills, learn the
value of teamwork, and most importantly, have fun.
In addition to ECAs, we offer After-School Care (ASC), providing a safe and engaging space
for students to enjoy a variety of supervised activities after the school day.
Our ECAs are organised into five categories:

These activities promote physical exercise, movement, and sportsmanship.
