Wellbeing & Individual Needs

Our commitment to the whole student

Wellbeing and Individual Needs
Our holistic philosophy emphasises both the intellectual and personal development of our students. To that end excellent pastoral care and an unwavering focus on the individual needs are integral to creating the best outcome for each one of our students.

Wellbeing

Our extensive wellbeing team oversees the physical and emotional wellness of our students. Each campus has a dedicated pastoral team in place to assist teachers in caring for students, promote wellbeing through school-wide initiatives and provide additional individualised support and care where needed. Our pastoral service also includes nurses and counsellors and works closely with our excellent Individual Needs team to make sure students’ needs are being met.

The wellbeing of students is also promoted and addressed through the curriculum in the form of Personal, Social, Health and Emotional (PSHE) education. Through mindfulness lessons and the Peer Educational Programme, students are empowered to nurture their own wellbeing, as well the wellbeing of their peers and the greater community.

Students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) or with Individual Needs (IN) are supported.
