We are delighted to feature a recently published article in SEN Magazine by Helen Trethewey, Vice Principal for Inclusion and Individual Needs, who joined our BISS team in the autumn term of this school year. Helen offers her unique perspective on the benefits of working with individual needs families within the international school community, and her extensive experience and knowledge in this area has made her a real asset for our international IN families. You can read her piece in full here on page 58.
The article covers, among other things, the benefits of early identification of learning differences, how to create a positive support framework for the child and the additional bilingual or multilingual factor present in the international school environment.
