Last week was our annual International Day! Organised by our Friends of BISS association in partnership with our Student Government, we celebrated multiculturalism and global citizenship while also building our own international BISS community. Following a school day of various activities, including sports history, language games, cooking, art and architecture, music and trivia, our students were treated to an international food fair with tables organised by BISS families showcasing their home countries and cultures. Through it all, our students learned not only about cultural diversity but about unity, empathy and respect for others. International Day contributes to our development as global citizens and also prepares our pupils to navigate an increasingly interconnected world.
